A-Tisket, A-Tasket

A child carries a green - and - yellow basket with a letter written to a friend/love. They accidentally drop the letter on the way. A little boy (or girl, in variants) finds the letter and puts it in their pocket. The rhyme is short, playful, and centered on a tiny mishap with a light - hearted tone, often used for kids’ circle games.
